Fares and tickets in 2026
Paris Metro-Train-RER and Bus-Tram are separate ticket families. Airport rail connections have dedicated conditions. Choose the ticket for your journey and check fares and passes at https://www.iledefrance-mobilites.fr/.
Using the official apps
The Bonjour RATP and Île-de-France Mobilités apps let riders buy tickets and tap through gates via NFC on compatible phones. Both are official booking channels. Carrying a physical Navigo Easy card as backup is still sensible, since a drained phone battery at a gate with no staffed counter nearby remains a common practical problem.
RER B and the airport fare
For CDG on RER B and Orly on Line 14, use an appropriate airport ticket or eligible pass, not an ordinary Metro-Train-RER ticket. Check Orlyval conditions and accepted ticket media too: do not assume bank-card tap-in works at every gate. Consult Île-de-France Mobilités.

Fines and last trains
Keep your ticket until exit and follow validation rules. Penalties and last trains depend on specific conditions; consult RATP rather than relying on a fixed figure or time. For a late return, check line, direction and day in the official planner.
