Paris has a Low Emission Zone: you need a Crit'Air sticker on the windscreen. The most polluting vehicles are banned on weekdays.

€68 without a sticker or with a banned class

How it works: Order the sticker on the official site before you travel: it arrives by post, but the digital receipt is valid immediately. Crit'Air classes 4 and 5 are banned on weekdays.

How it works: Through-traffic is banned: residents, deliveries, taxis, disabled drivers and anyone with a car park or hotel inside are allowed.
